I closed escrow last week on the sale of my solo medical practice in Northern California. The very notion of being able to do that in 2014 was so formidable that I never would have attempted it without the services of a practice broker. On inquiry, my medical society immediately referred me to Gary Ware and his partner, Debra Phairas. After Ms. Phairas performed a practice valuation, Gary took that ball and ran with it. He solicited and vetted potential buyers, vigorously engaged in arduous negotiations with the ultimate buyer, and patiently nudged us along to the finish line.
