Her BS is from Michigan State University and her graduate work at Golden Gate University San Francisco MBA Health Services Administration program.

Prerna is an experienced Administrator and brings to the table a wealth of knowledge in contract management and negotiation, practice management, financial management, and healthcare operations. She has an intense understanding of the managed care systems including Medicare, Managed Care Organizations, IPAs and PHOs and its dealings with primary care physicians and specialists. Prerna received her Masters in Business Administration in 2001 and has been in the healthcare field for over 10 years.
Naomi Cassin was the Client Services Manager for Practice & Liability Consultants for over 5 years. Naomi has over 15 years’ experience in private practice office administration and has worked with both single and multi-specialty groups from Primary Care to OB/GYN and Infertility to Cosmetic Dentistry. Naomi brings with her a keen knowledge of the inner-workings of medical office management. She began her career in healthcare as a file clerk for an OB/GYN office in high school and quickly transitioned into their receptionist and billing supervisor. From there she became an executive assistant for the CEO of a multi-specialty medical group with over 80 physicians and 20 locations and transitioned into practice management. Naomi’s main expertise is in billing, insurance credentialing/contracting and staff recruiting. She is a graduate of San Francisco State University where she completed her MBA.
Ashley M Porciuncula offers a specialized approach to practice branding, including marketing, website design and online presence management. Her marketing, website design and branding experience includes working with companies such as Nestle, Suzuki and MTV. She has also had her designs featured at events such as the Grammy and Emmy awards, as well as national film and art festivals. She has been published in San Francisco Medical Society’s journal, San Francisco Medicine, speaking on the topic of managing the online presence of private practices. She has helped establish and expand over 250 small businesses including medical practices and projects, and regularly works with charitable organizations.
Gary Ware had served as Vice President of Primary Eyecare Network, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. His responsibilities at PEN also included all practice consulting services, appraisals, the Financial Improvement Techniques program, the annual Vital Statistics Survey and Analysis, and the Patient Satisfaction Survey service.
Prior to joining PEN, he owned his own businesses for ten years, including a business consulting firm. Earlier, he held a variety of technical and management positions at Fortune 100 corporations, and was Assistant Dean of the Graduate School of Management at the University of Rochester.
Gary holds an MBA and BS Engineering degrees, as well as a Broker license. He is a member of the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB), and the International Business Brokers Association. Additionally, he is a Certified Business Broker (only about 10% of the business brokers in California have received this designation), and an Industry Specialist for Business Brokerage Press.
